Students at Motherwell College have been given the opportunity to voice their
opinions in a big brother style diary room.
The Chair which is running for a 2 week period, part of the learning
engagement and participation programme at Motherwell College, is designed to
give the students their 5-10 minutes of fame in a big brother style diary
room.
The diary room consists of basically a chair and allows the students to get
their voice heard on various issues geared around their college experience and
give feedback on how can the college enhance it. In order to get the most
from the sessions, each one is supervised by staff and ask structured questions
to get the best possible response such as What do you like? What do you not
like?
Like on TV, The Chair room has rules and regulations to ensure that it runs
effectively and has been highly successful thus far.
Pictured on the chair are students Gayle Suttie and Nina Leigh Martin, both
are on the Preparation for Childcare Course.
